The company, known as Grupo Votorantim, is the largest industrial conglomerate in Brazil and one of the largest in Latin America. In 2007, Votorantim North America became the owner of the Prestige Group of Companies, which provides ready-mix concrete to Florida, North Carolina, Texas, and California.
